Richard Hersley is a Canadian actor and voice-over artist, best known for his appearance as Captain Kyle Sanford in The X-Files (1996, episodes Piper Maru and Apocrypha). Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, he trained in the University of Winnipeg’s professional theatre program and later earned a degree in Drama and English from the University of Manitoba.
Hersley has built a versatile career across theatre, film, television, and commercials. His stage work includes productions such as Life of Galileo, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Frankenstein, and Sordid Lives.
